Marien Nzikou-Massala is an independent journalist from the Republic of the Congo. He's a correspondent for Spore Magazine (http://spore.cta.int), BRAZA Infos (http://wire.farmradio.fm/fr) and Syfia International. He is also editor and correspondent for Era Environnement (www.eraenvironnement.com). Nzikou Massala specializes in rural landscapes, forest governance, Indigenous and traditional communities, and gender. He also collaborates with the newspaper Présence Economique, La Griffe and leads the blog site Mayilanews.
Nzikou-Massala serves as Joint Secretary General for the Center for Press Resources (Centre de Ressources pour la Presse - CRP), Coordinator of the Mateya Association for International Development Information & Communications (Association Mateya de l’Information et la Communication pour le Développement - AMICODE), and communications support for the Chair of the Congolese Observer of Human Rights (Observatoire Congolais des Droits de l'Homme - OCDH). He has been a member of the International Union for Francophone Press (Union Internationale de la Presse Francophone - UPF) since 2016.
