Mariam Feroun


Mariam Feroun is an intern with the Pulitzer Center and a Journalism student at Northwestern University in Qatar. She is currently working on research that explores the use of social media and online dialogue as a political, cultural, and religious tool that affects attitudes surrounding the Gulf diplomatic crisis. Mariam is passionate about issues of cultural and religious discrimination, as well as issues of women and children. She believes in the importance of journalism and starting the conversation as driving forces of change.
