Kristen Chin

Kristen is a documentary filmmaker and multimedia journalist based in Boston. She has been published in the Boston Globe and the Nieman Storyboard and featured on "Stories from the Stage", a nationally-broadcasted storytelling show on PBS. In 2021, she graduated from Boston University with a master's in journalism and began working full-time in GBH Boston’s lifestyle and national programming department shortly after.

She started filming Snow Money in March 2020 and is excited by the opportunity to preserve local history and connect people of different socioeconomic backgrounds. Her goal is to capture the impacts of climate change on everyday people and create community around climate action.
