The O'Hongana Manyawa, an Indigenous tribe on Halmahera Island in Indonesia, are threatened by large-scale nickel exploitation. Their living space has been displaced; their forests have been cleared by mining companies; and their food sources have also been lost.

Amid the uncertainty of life, this reporting project will reveal how the O'Hongana Manyawa are struggling against nickel mining exploitation that is destroying their homes and food sources.
