Susan Gray has produced and directed documentaries for PBS, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, National Geographic Channels, the Sundance Channel, Arte, Channel 4, and other broadcasters worldwide, as well as film festivals and theatrical release. She has won the Prix Europa, Best of Input, and nominated for an Emmy, an Image Award, and the Adolf Grimme Award. Susan worked as a political organizer and journalist before becoming a documentary filmmaker. She spent five years as a Director and Writer in Europe, and has American/Italian Citizenship. She also teaches documentary writing in Europe and the U.S., and holds masters degree from the Columbia School of Journalism, and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
