Salvador Benasayag is a data journalist and head of social media at Prodavinci. He has led Prodavinci's COVID-19 coverage data management and analysis, with the support of the Pulitzer Center.
Benasayag, along with journalist Valentina Oropeza, won The King of Spain International Journalism Prize in 2022 for their 20-member team project on the collapse of Venezuela's social security system.
