She has been freelancing from the largest city in the western hemisphere since 2010, writing and reporting for publications like The New York Times, the Associated Press, Fortune, Foreign Policy and Americas Quarterly. Her work focuses on politics, human rights, social justice and the impact of socioeconomic issues on people’s lives.
