Jennifer Miller

Jennifer Miller's debut novel "The Year of the Gadfly" (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) was chosen as a 2012 Best Book by Kirkus Reviews and Self magazine. Her first book, "Inheriting the Holy Land" (Ballantine, 2005), won Moment magazine's Non-Fiction Award for Young Writers. Miller's journalism has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post Magazine, the Christian Science Monitor, Fast Company, and The Daily Beast. A native of Washington, DC, she now lives in Brooklyn, NY, and teaches writing at Columbia University.
