Jalesa Tucker is the Pulitzer Center's 2014 Westchester Community College student fellow. She is now a student at the City College of New York majoring in communications and is also interning for a PR firm. Her work has been featured on The Campus website and she has served as a regular guest on a local radio show called AfricanVibz, in her hometown. Jalesa’s interests range from social welfare and institutional injustice to tourism. She hopes her writing will capture the interconnectedness and human side of global issues.
