Eleonora Francica
POST-GRAD REPORTING FELLOW
Eleonora Francica is a Pulitzer Center Post-Grad Reporting Fellow and the Albany editorial intern at POLITICO, for which she covers New York State administration and the Capitol.
Francica previously covered the United Nations for the Italo-American online newspaper La Voce di New York and worked as an intern in the Italian Parliament, where she developed a database on domestic violence and child abuse. She also serves as a contributing analyst for NewsGuard.
Francica holds a master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor's degree in international affairs from John Cabot, the American University of Rome.
She is originally from a small city near Rome called Albano Laziale, Italy. In 2021, she moved to New York City to earn her master's degree at Columbia. She currently lives in Albany, New York.
