Diana Rayes

REPORTING FELLOW

Diana Rayes is a PhD student at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of International Health. Her research focuses on the impact of conflict and displacement on refugee mental health and integration in host country contexts, and particularly in high-income settings. Diana will be drawing on her experience researching the Syrian refugee response in various host countries to report on the situation of recent Ukrainian refugee arrivals in Turkey, which continues to be the largest refugee hosting country globally. She holds an MHS in Public Mental Health and a certificate in Humanitarian Assistance from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a BS in Psychology from Arizona State University.
