During a multi-day visit to William & Mary, journalist Hilke Schellmann will share her experiences reporting on artificial intelligence during a community talk titled “Steal My Methods: How to Hold AI Accountable.”

Schellman is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, journalism professor at New York University, and the author of The Algorithm. She also was a Pulitzer Center AI Accountability Fellow, selected as part of that network's first cohort.

Her talk, organized by the Pulitzer Center and William & Mary’s Charles Center and Data Science program, is part of her two-day visit to the Campus Consortium partner. During her time at William & Mary, Schellman also will be participating in the Sharp Seminar writing program for students who are carrying out their own reporting projects.
