For Youth in the West Bank, a Mental Health Crisis

Kern Hendricks' film looks at the psychological and mental health impacts of the current violence in Gaza and the West Bank on young Palestinians and their families. The film examines young people's struggle to focus on their studies while being bombarded constantly by graphic images of dead Palestinians on social media, and receiving calls from friends and family in distress.

Hendricks' piece explores how middle school students in Ramallah cope with the violence of nightly IDF raids and other incidents that have included a misfired Hamas rocket landing a few blocks from their homes.
