The Pulitzer Center welcomed more than 40 Reporting Fellows to Washington, D.C., on October 18-20, 2024, for its annual Washington Weekend.
This year’s Fellows came from journalism schools, state universities, liberal arts colleges, HBCUs, schools of public health, and community colleges. They reported on an array of topics, including the impact of climate change in Nigeria, Mongolia, and the Canary Islands; peace and conflict issues in Jordan, Argentina, and the U.S.; and mental health—whether it’s an investigation into the impact toxic pesticides have on Brazilian farmers' mental health or a documentary about a student's mental health journey.
