Tony Bartelme

Tony Bartelme, senior projects reporter for The Post and Courier, has done a wide range of investigative projects, from corruption to climate change.
He's earned national honors from the Nieman, Scripps, Loeb and National Press foundations and is a four-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
Bartelme also has written several nonfiction books, including A Surgeon in the Village: An American Doctor Teaches Brain Surgery in Africa. He’s a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
