Rachel Nuwer

Rachel Nuwer is a New York-based freelance journalist who writes about science, travel and adventure for outlets such as The New York Times, Scientific American, and National Geographic. She holds a master's degree in ecology from the University of East Anglia, where she conducted research on illegal hunting in Vietnam, and a master's degree in science writing from New York University, where she learned to write about research.
