Mariama Correia

Mariama Correia is a journalist who graduated from the Catholic University of Pernambuco in Recife, Brazil, and she received a postgraduate degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco.
She was a reporter for the independent investigative journalism collective Marco Zero Conteúdo and for the economics department of the Folha de Pernambuco newspaper.
Correia has also contributed articles to the Intercept Brasil, magazines published by Editora Abril, and other publications. She is involved in Atlas da Notícia, a journalism mapping project in Brazil, as a researcher for the northeast region.
