Katrina Yu is a correspondent, video journalist and writer who has been based in Beijing for over five years. She has reported from mainland China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and Australia. Her stories and live updates have been broadcast on Al Jazeera English, the PBS Newshour, SBS News Australia, France24, CBS News Radio and TRT World. Her written work has appeared on NPR’s Global Health blog, Al Jazeera, The CEO Magazine and the Sydney Morning Herald.
Katrina has an MA in Journalism from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) which she completed as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.
