Julysa Sosa

Julysa Sosa is a documentary photographer based out of San Antonio, Texas. Due to her military upbringing, Sosa learned to adapt and assimilate into various cultures and communities. She received her undergraduate degree in photojournalism from the University of North Carolina, publishing with NPR and National Geographic , among others. Sosa's photography focuses on evocative documentary storytelling in sometimes stark and dramatic ways. Her work draws out the images on the periphery of a story that were seemingly concealed.
