Julia Simon is a radio journalist. She specializes in international business reporting and investigative story-telling.
She has worked for NPR News, BBC News, APM's Marketplace and PRI's The World.
She spent two years as a reporter in Egypt—one year before the revolution, one year after. She also spent a year reporting in Indonesia as a Henry Luce Scholar and recently spent a year in Nigeria as a Fulbright Fellow.
She speaks Egyptian Arabic, Indonesian, and Spanish.
