Ibrahim Khalilulahi Usman

Ibrahim Khalilulahi Usman is a Ghana-based journalist who reports in English and Hausa. He founded Eco Media Africa, a digital platform that simplifies climate change issues for African audiences. From 2017 to 2024, he led the Hausa news team at Zuria 88.7, providing news coverage to Ghana's non-English speaking population.
Khalilulahi has trained some 500 student journalists in media literacy and leadership through collaborations with organizations. He also fights information disorder in Ghana as a fact-checker at Fact Check Ghana, producing videos in local languages.
With expertise in climate communication, media innovation, and investigative journalism, Khalilulahi is a leading voice in African climate narratives.
He is an alumnus of the University of Central Lancashire's Journalism Innovation Program.
