Emma Johnson

Emma Johnson is an environmental journalist and communicator whose writing and visualizations have been featured in Mongabay, Carolina Public Press, Chesapeake Bay Magazine, and more.
She is a three-time Pulitzer Center grantee, reporting on climate change in the northern Outer Banks, trout farming in western North Carolina, and hydropower development in Bhutan.
Johnson received a master's degree from the Yale School of the Environment and a bachelor's in environmental studies from Davidson College.
