Angarika Gogoi

Angarika Gogoi is based in New Delhi, India, and recently completed her stint at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) as a senior communications associate. She was leading communications for Powering Livelihoods, an initiative that aims to boost India’s rural economy.

Previously, she worked as a journalist at The Better India (TBI) and 101 Reporters, media organizations based in Bengaluru, India. At 101 Reporters, she reported on various topics ranging from climate change to politics and business. While at TBI, she reported on startups and small businesses.

Gogoi graduated from Hindu College with a degree in history. Later, she was trained at the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media (IIJNM). 

She is passionate about climate and sustainability at the intersection of health and gender.
