Andrés Bermúdez Liévano, coordinator at the Latin American Center for Investigative Journalism (CLIP), is a Colombian journalist who worked at La Silla Vacía and won the 2013 Gabo Award in innovation, the most prestigious in Latin America, for his work on land restitution in Colombia. A former Rosalynn Carter Mental Health Journalism fellow, he reported on how victims in Colombia cope with mental and emotional health issues in an end-of-conflict scenario. Bermúdez Liévano recently published The Debates Behind the Colombian Peace Process: A Look from Within, a book detailing the conceptual debates during the Colombian peace negotiations and the creative solutions to bridge them.
