Aman Madan is graduating in 2019 from Davidson College where he majors in both Political Science and Arab Studies. While at Davidson, Aman has focused on Islamic movements and sub-state actors in the Middle East and North Africa. Aman is currently on temporary leave from Davidson College and is pursuing a year long study abroad program at the American University of Beirut where he interns with the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs. This summer Aman returns to Jordan to focus on refugee integration, the human cost of the Syrian Civil War on Jordanians, and how Israel’s occupation of Palestine underpins conflicts in the Middle East. He was a rising junior when he received the Campus Consortium fellowship.
