Our goal is to extend the reach of journalism by mobilizing audiences to engage directly with climate, environmental, AI accountability, and other key issues through education and outreach programs across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
Since 2022, we have been connecting teachers, students, researchers, youth, artists, content creators, civil society organizations, and decision-makers with underreported issues globally. Our purpose is to increase quality discussion, build civic engagement, and cultivate more informed and well-equipped audiences in order to inspire action.
By joining local and international conferences and through other civic engagement initiatives— such as a teacher network, university courses, public events, digital campaigns, and microgrants—we create multidisciplinary networks and collaborations that foster knowledge exchange, inspired by the insights revealed by the journalism we support.
Intertwining journalism, education, and outreach in crucial climate hotspots in the world, we hope to contribute to a greater and solid multi-stakeholder movement that directly engages in improving policies, environmental discussions, and civic participation, exposing harmful practices and holding those in power to account.
