Platform Accountability: Artificial Intelligence 101

This three-day workshop, organized in partnership with EngageMedia, will be held in-person in Bali, Indonesia. Pioneer AI reporter and Pulitzer Center grantee Karen Hao will lead sessions focusing on a human-rights-based approach to framing conversations around the opportunities, risks, and harms of AI.

Participants will also learn about the typology of AI harms, tools, and techniques for documenting and reporting on AI use in their communities, and how these feed into and impact policy development around AI governance.
