A panel discussion and exhibit will celebrate the work of photojournalism students from Southern Illinois University and Eastern Illinois University.

The exhibition will be on display at SIU's Morris Library on August 24-October 31, 2024, according to WSIU.

Featuring the people in the Illinois communities of Alto Pass and Cobden, the exhibit will include 31 photographs taken during a three-day workshop in April, SIU Carbondale says on  its website.

SIU says on its website that the panel discussion is titled “Views of Cobden and Alto Pass from the 2024 SIU Photojournalism Weekend Workshop” and will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Pulitzer Center grantees Julia Rendleman, a journalism professor at SIU Carbondale, and photojournalist Justin Cook will participate in the panel.
