Lylee Gibbs

Lylee Gibbs is a sophomore at Southern Illinois University, studying photojournalism. She is the photo editor of the Daily Egyptian, SIU's student-run newspaper. Prior to that, she served as a staff photographer with an emphasis on sports photography.
She has a summer 2024 internship with the Thrillville Thrillbillies minor league baseball team in Illinois.
Gibbs is from Du Quoin, Illinois, and graduated from Du Quoin High School in 2022.
She has received several awards from the Illinois College Press Association. She hopes to pursue a career in sports photography.
