Pulitzer Center grantee and Drilled reporter Molly Taft will visit San Diego State University on November 12, 2024. Taft will speak to classes, meet with public relations and journalism students, and deliver a keynote presentation.

They contributed to the Pulitzer Center-supported project Drilled: Denial to Delay, which investigates the role of the public relations industry in generating and promoting science misinformation. Taft and the founder of the Drilled project, Amy Westervelt, recently published "How the Oil and Gas Industry Smuggles Corporate Propaganda Into Schools" in partnership with Rolling Stone.

Taft’s work has been published by The Intercept, Buzzfeed, VICE, Teen Vogue, and the Center for Public Integrity. They won a 2023 SEAL Environmental Award for their work at Earther, a Gizmodo blog.
