Jeanne Carstensen reports on the refugee crisis on the Greek island of Lesbos. Much of the local population itself descends from Greek refugees who fled Asia Minor in 1922. Local resources are strained by the arrival of over 500,000 refugees, but so far the island has mostly reacted with tolerance. Meanwhile, hundreds of refugees have died making the dangerous crossing while the smuggling network that is transporting the refugees continues to get richer.
