An English summary of this report is below. The original audio report aired in French on Radio Tiemeni Siantou.

Rampaging elephants located in the locality of Campo in southern Cameroon are destroying villagers' plantations.

The number of animals roaming in the areas bordering the Campo Ma'an National Park has increased due to deforestation for agro-industrial and large-scale development projects, which have reduced the animals' living space and destroyed their migration corridors.

The population claims to have repeatedly contacted the authorities, verbally or in writing, to seek compensation to little avail.
