Karlene is one of the leaders of J-Flag (Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals and Gays), which is the only gay activist group in Jamaica. She reflects on the scope and impact of homophobia and social discrimination on the lives of gay men and women in Jamaica.
