Who's Who in the Venezuelan Amazon

Country:

Author:

Joseph Poliszuk’s fellowship investigates forest destruction in the protected areas and Indigenous territories of the Venezuelan Amazon. Working with his associates from Armando.info, Poliszuk will take advantage of technology to pinpoint areas of illegal mines. This would be the starting point to understand the crimes that are emerging—with total impunity—in southern Venezuela, in the states of Amazonas and Bolivar and that are connected with global mineral trafficking.
