Give Me Back My Name, a documentary project by journalist Maryan Kushnir, examines the return of fallen Ukrainian soldiers from the war zone.

At least 70,000 Ukrainians are missing, most of whom are soldiers. The families of most of them will never know the place where their loved ones died.

Vast cemeteries of unmarked graves, laboratories overwhelmed and unable to process DNA tests in time, fields strewn with bodies that cannot be retrieved due to heavy shelling, the dead buried under tons of destroyed buildings. The missing, whose place of death is unknown to anyone.

Thousands of families are still searching for their loved ones. Kushnir's documentary reveals the complex process of identifying bodies, the danger of mined areas, and the problems with body exchanges.
