Ella Gonzales

Ella Gonzales is a freshly graduated alumni from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating in two and a half years with her bachelor’s degree in journalism, she continued her work in Fort Worth as a service journalist reporter for the Fort Worth Star Telegram.
She covers a plethora of topics from education to business to food reviews. She also launched her own column, "Fort Worth On a Budget," where she fosters a relationship with subscribers by going places suggested by readers.
Her passion lies in connecting with people which is why her goal one day is to be a travel journalist focusing on crisis reporting.
After a year-long research project on Ukrainian refugees in the DFW metroplex during college, Ella will continue her research in Warsaw, Poland with the Pulitzer Center.
