Yunfan Sun

Yunfan Sun is a Chinese writer and artist who is currently the culture editor for ChinaFile, a publication of the Center on U.S.-China Relations at Asia Society.
Born and raised in China, she has lived in the U.S. for over a decade. She holds a B.A. in painting from the School of Visual Arts and an M.F.A. in fine arts from Pratt Institute. She has worked as a freelance writer, graphic designer, and independent curator. Recently, her artwork was included in Himalaya Song, a multimedia performance project featured at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Her writings for ChinaFile have been republished by The Atlantic and the Chinese edition of The New York Times. She also holds a master's degree in accounting from Utah State University and a bachelor's degree in finance from Shenzhen University.
