She focuses on social media misinformation and disinformation, politicized information operations, legal justice, and gender issues, combining large-scale data approaches with reporting to uncover hidden patterns.

Her previous projects include monitoring election misinformation during the Coahuila governor election in Mexico, developing data-driven technologies to support decision-making processes at a Wisconsin district attorney's office, analyzing censorship mechanisms on Chinese social media platforms, and investigating the role of bots in amplifying public criticism and cyberbullying.
