Vanessa is an educator in her eighth year of teaching. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Dominican University in 2013. Since then, she has taught middle school ELA for the majority of her years teaching in Chicago. She spent two years in Milwaukee teaching third grade literacy in a Dual Language classroom. Currently, she teaches eighth grade writing and participates in various committees at her current school.
