Uliana Bazar is a Ukrainian documentary photographer and multimedia producer based in Washington, D.C. Over the past few years she has spent time photographing in the Caribbean and Italy, focusing primarily on the lifestyles of local people. Her work has been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and Design, and the ARC Gallery in Washington. In the summer of 2012, she completed a 3-month photography internship with the National Geographic Book Division.
She is currently working toward a master's degree in new media photojournalism at Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, while simultaneously documenting post-Soviet immigrants in New York as her final project thesis.
