Tyler Marshall is an American journalist with extensive experience covering international events, including armed conflicts and major political change in the Middle East, East Asia and Europe. During a career of 27 years at the Los Angeles Times, he had four foreign assignments in Europe and two in Asia. He also reported in-depth in Washington, from the State Department, Congress and the White House on the formulation and execution of American foreign policy.
He has been recognized with an array of awards including a Pulitzer Price in 2004 for his work on a series about the global impact of Wal-Mart. He has also worked for magazines and a major wire service.
