Tommy Walters

Tommy Walters is a multimedia journalist based in Washington, D.C. He works as an associate producer in the Segment Unit at PBS NewsHour, where he covers U.S. politics, immigration, and international affairs.
His experience spans across breaking news reporting, documentary film, and communications. Formerly, he worked as a print reporter at the Sunday Times, and on the communications team at Pentagram where he developed campaigns for Amnesty International and The Guardian.
At Columbia Journalism School, he specialized in video and investigative journalism, where he was the recipient of the James A. Wechsler Award for National Reporting.
