Tayguara Ribeiro

Tayguara Ribeiro has been a reporter at Folha de S.Paulo since 2019. He is currently working in the politics section. Previously, Ribeiro has worked as a reporter, writer, producer, and editor at Brazilian media outlets Brasil de Fato, Diário de São Paulo, Diário de Guarulhos, Rádio2, and TV Mix.
He coordinates the Folha de S.Paulo project Quilombos do Brasil, which focuses on quilombo communities, descendants of formerly enslaved people. In the series of reports, he visits the communities throughout Brazil to address the land, environmental, social, historical, and cultural aspects of the population.
Ribeiro has an undergraduate degree in journalism and a graduate degree in politics and international relations.
