Dana Thompson is a veteran editor in digital and print media. Before coming to the Pulitzer Center, she worked as a copy editor at the (Lexington, Kentucky) Herald-Leader, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and the Houston Chronicle. She also helped oversee homepage content for the Chronicle's Chron.com website and worked as a producer/editor for Microsoft News' MSN.com.
Thompson is based in Houston, Texas, and received a bachelor's in journalism from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee.
