Sonia Faleiro

Sonia Faleiro is an award-winning journalist and writer of narrative nonfiction.
Her latest book The Good Girls: An Ordinary Killing (Bloomsbury, 2021) was nominated for the Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize and the ALCS Gold Dagger for Nonfiction. It was a New York Times' Editor's Choice and a Human Rights Watch Book Club pick.
She writes for The New York Times, Harper's, MIT Technology Review, Rest of World, Granta, 1843, and The Times Literary Supplement. She is the co-founder of the journalism cooperative Deca and the founder of the literary mentorship South Asia Speaks. She is a Royal Literary Fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London.
