Eung Sea

Eung Sea is a freelance journalist based in Phnom Penh, focusing on human rights, the environment, and social issues.
Sea primarily contributes to CamboJA News, one of the few remaining independent media outlets in the country. His reporting has also been published by Mekong Eye, Dialogue Earth, and The World.
With a strong commitment to social justice, Sea loves to report on the challenges faced by communities in Cambodia, particularly regarding land rights and environmental degradation.
Sea has received reporting grants from Earth Journalism Network and GRID-Arendal. This year he was selected to attend the Internews Regional Hackathon “Media Xcelerate” Indo-Pacific Media Advancement Program in Bangkok.
