Ryan Little


Ryan Little is an award-winning reporter based at the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism who has also covered the Maryland General Assembly and the novel coronavirus for the Capital News Service.

He previously worked for The Ledger in Lakeland, Fla., where his reporting prompted state attorney's office investigations, caused resignations of multiple city officials and the termination of a planned $150 million mixed-use development called The Landings.

Little is pursuing a master's degree in journalism with an emphasis on investigative and computational journalism at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Central Florida, where he studied journalism and public administration.
