Rachel Wallace
REPORTING FELLOW
Rachel Wallace is a senior anthropology major at The College of William & Mary. She is also an avid photographer, and has interned at the White House Photo Office, worked as a photo editor and staff photographer for her college yearbook, and has published photographs with the National Park Service and several campus publications. In the spirit of education, Rachel has taught college freshman about service-learning as a Sharpe Community Scholars Teaching Fellow, high school girls about environmental conservation as a Youth Conservation Corps Supervisor, and elementary students about art as a summer art camp assistant. She is presently working with a local non-profit organization to develop her own curricula to teach elementary school students about rainforest conservation. In her spare time, Rachel tries to soak in as much of the world as possible; she may be found anywhere from the mountains of Costa Rica to suburban American barbershops, always with camera in hand.
