Özge Sebzeci

Born next to Bosphorus, Özge Sebzeci is a documentary photographer and multimedia storyteller from Istanbul, Turkey, focusing on stories about gender and migration with an approach based on trust and intimacy with her subjects. Sebzeci has been producing stories about women’s rights for the last five years. Her work has appeared in National Geographic, NPR, The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The Huffington Post, News Deeply, NRC Handelsblad, De Standaard, and VG, among others. She also co-founded On Spec Podcast two years ago with a group of freelance journalists from different countries.
