Nihar Gokhale is a journalist based in New Delhi, India. He writes on land rights, and environmental justice and livelihoods, combining field reportage with analysis and investigations of government policies. His work has appeared in Scroll.in, The Caravan, Indiaspend.com, Asia Times and Catch News. He also contributes to Land Conflict Watch, an independent network of researchers documenting ongoing land conflicts across India. Nihar attended the ‘Reporting Land Rights’ program conducted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation and the Pulitzer Center in August 2019 in New Delhi.
